The cultural week was inaugurated by head of Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman and Algerian Culture Minister Ezzedin Mayhoubi in the city of Constantine, northern Algeria on Friday.
Iranian flicks Today, Don't Be Tired!, Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz & Others, One Line of Reality as well as Once, Love and Betrayal will be screened during the event.
As a representative of Iranian cinema director Behrooz Afkhami as well as actress and script writer Marjan Shir Mohammadi are attending the event.
The week-long event, held in the cities of Algiers and Constantine, include different programs including performances of traditional music by Keyvan Saket as well as calligraphy, painting and photography exhibitions.
In addition to Qur'anic works, documents and manuscripts from the Iran National Library and Archive will be displayed for Algerian scholars and researchers.
